BaZi Revelation was born from a simple observation: Chinese four pillars of destiny astrology is one of the most precise self-knowledge systems in existence, yet it remains hard to access — reserved for a few practitioners or buried in generic Chinese horoscope interpretations based on birth year alone. Our goal: to make a truly personalised BaZi analysis — based on your exact date and time of birth — accessible in minutes, without unnecessary jargon.
A method grounded in tradition, not approximation
BaZi is not just an animal sign by birth year. The tradition distinguishes several schools of calculation and interpretation; we built our engine around the Ziping method (子平法), established during the Song dynasty and now considered the reference for Day Master analysis — the central pillar of any serious BaZi reading. Concretely, this means:
- ◆A calculation based on the traditional Wan Nian Li calendar, not an approximation by birth year.
- ◆A precise determination of the Day Master and its strength (strong, weak, balanced) according to the season of birth.
- ◆The integration of the Ten Gods (十神) and interactions between earthly branches (合/冲/害) — mechanisms that most mainstream Chinese horoscope generators completely ignore.
The development of this engine drew on the reference literature of the field — notably the works published in French by recognised practitioners of the Singapore school and the books of Joey Yap on BaZi — as well as exchanges with practitioners of traditional Chinese medicine and BaZi calculation specialists, to verify the consistency of each interpretation rule with the tradition.
